Emily, [24] originally from Durham, is curently based in Meribel, France, she is the UKs #1 skier cross skier and currently has a world ranking of 24, she started skiing at age 3 on a family holiday and was hooked on the sport very quickly, by the age of 12 she started to compete in alpine racing events and progressed through the ranks to an international level.  In 2005 Emily made the transition to freestyle skier cross where she currenty competes at the highest level, Emily is concentrating on training for the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver where skier cross will make its debut as an olympic sport.
