I first visited Colin  at Solutions 4 Feet after completing my first half marathon, i'm still not sure how i managed to finish as i had picked up several injuries during training.
I turned up at his clinic with one black toe nail and a whole list of problems. The first thing Colin did was to look at my trainers. I was extremely impressed that he could tell so much about my running style just by looking at my shoes. He then carried out a full gait analysis, which i found fascinating and very interesting. The end result was that i had been running in the correct type of running shoe, just completely the wrong size.....hence the black toe nail !! Colin also recommended custom made insoles to give me extra support where needed. These i believe have made all the difference to my running, I have now run several half marathons and completed my first full marathon with no injurys or problems at all.
I have now visited colin several times, he is extremely professional at what he does and i have found him very supportive, especially when i was training for the marathon. I believe that my running wouldn't be where it is today if i hadn't met him. I now have running shoes that fit like a glove and i have never had an injury despite pushing myself harder and further than i have ever done before.
I highly recomend a visit.

Thank you to Solutions 4 Feet for their hard work and expertise. I was suffering from shin splints and Colin's superb knowledge has corrected my stance enabling me to train harder for longer. Having the perfect boot in skiing is so important, and Solutions 4 Feet and  Head have managed to perfect mine. I wouldn't trust anyone else in the UK with this job! Thanks!

We have used Solutions4feet for both new ski boot fitting/purchase and also for adjusting of boots bought elsewhere.
Colins skills are second to none and he is a true professional.
Refreshingly, he is quite happy to make a boot fit rather than automatically suggesting new. As Colin does not sell recreational level ski boots it is reassuring to know that he has only your well being at heart and not a need to achieve a sales target.

I run for Alchester running club and I first met Colin from Solutions 4 feet when I had a shin splint injury, he took detailed analysis of my feet and also checked my old running trainers which were not helping the problem. Next was to have video analysis, running on a treadmill to check my running style, from which custom Orthotics were then recomended. Now my running has got better and faster being able to race regularly and train harder. Thanks for your help Colin.

In December 2007 I had a right ankle fusion. This was followed in May 2008 by a total left knee replacement and I thought my skiing days were over.

On February 22nd 2009 , I returned from a superb weeks skiing in the Austrian Tirol . It seemed that the clock had been turned back 30 years and this rejuvenation was largely due to Colin Martins' expertise at Solutions4feet. His advice and painstaking customizing of the ski boots ( particularly the right boot which accommodated the fused ankle ) enabled me to ski the whole week - in powder and on piste - with total confidence and in comfort. ' Thank you ' is a wholly inadequate response.

"I am a professional snowboard competing at Olympic level so obviously all my equipment has to be up to scratch and one of the most important parts of my equipment for me is my boots this is because I broke my left foot very badly a few years ago so constantly have problems with it now. I asked Colin if he could do me some foot beds to help me out and he did a really good job! They are super comfy and allow me to feel what is going on with my board beneath my feet.
I would recommend them to everyone as I think having comfortable feet is one of the most important things if skiing or snowboarding, if your feet hurt you’re not going to enjoy yourself half as much! "
