I am part time ski instructor for a company based in Worcester. Having been skiing many years and completing a season abroad, the comfort of the boot is vital. I have very rarely had problems with boots in the past however my last pair gave me severe pain. Solutions4feet were recommended by a colleague and the service provided by solutions4feet was second to none. Colin takes a genuine interest and his customer care is excellent. The provisional visit was informal however extremenly benefical in finding solutions and the correct boot to feet my feet. as this was pre season the boots i required were not yet in stock. The second visit to fit the boots again was carried out with precision, care and time. I have tried many ski boots and been to many establishments however i cannot recommend Colin and solutions 4 feet highly enough. The knowledge about fitting boots and the time and care given to the service was outstanding, and I will certainly return in the future.

There
is no getting around it. If you want to be able to ski down an icy
downhill course carrying a camera with a modicum of control then you need some
high performance race boots. I use a pair of factory produced Atomic race
boots, that are considerably stiffer and more responsive than even a top of the
range shop produced boots, they come however at a price..... They hurt like
hell and are as cold as ice boxes! That's where a friendly expert
boot fitter comes in handy. Colin Martin at Solutions4Feet has been the
man for me over the last few years, grinding and blowing out my boots.
It's not just about comfort either, a well fitted ski boot will have a
dramatic effect on your skiing ability.

As a member of the British Land Alpine Ski Team based in Austria and racing throughout Europe my ski boots are a major part of my equipment and have to be as good a fit as possible. Due to the tight fit of my race boots I have been having problems with pressure points over the last few months. I visited Colin at Solutions 4 Feet at the beginning of October to see if he could adjust my boots. He blew out and ground the tight areas and fitted new footbeds so that they were as comfortable as possible whilst still retaining the precision which I require. Having skied in them on my last training camp I am now able to ski to my full potential as I can feel all the movements through the ski.
I would like to thank Colin for all his help over the last couple of months and recommend him to everybody, whether a beginner or advanced skier.
